Gettext dependancy has been dropped in favour of QT4 and I would be interested in how it works now on ATI displays.

However the text display method has been changed in the latest build. Windows builds with ATI displays have been a problem for some time as the ATI OpenGl drivers do not like the later versions of QT.

Other than this I have no problems with a (Ubuntu) Linux build of 0.10.3. My video display does not have an OpenGl driver so runs very slow. I don't know much about Linux builds (ubuntu). Is there any chance it will run on Slackware 12.2 or do I have abandon stability and switch to something bleeding edge like Ubuntu? If I boot XP Stellarium 0.10.2 gives around 40 frames/sec.) Other times it would crash in QT versions 4.5.1 and 4.5.2. (This is a 2.4GHz Q6600 with Radeon XT2900 graphics. Stellarium would run sometimes, with frame rates below 1 per sec. OpenGL) with DRI disabled because those were the first failures I saw. And for the Linux users? What version of X11 do you need to have to stop 0.10.2 crashing in either DRI or QT4?
